Biography
WEB George Latimer was born on November 22, 1953, and is an American Democratic Party politician serving as County Executive in Westchester County, New York since January 2018. He took office as the ninth County Executive and was re-elected to a second term.
Career
Prior to his election as County Executive, Latimer served as a state Assemblyman. He ran for the position in part on his support of Israel and backed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

As County Executive, Latimer has focused on improving the county's infrastructure, economy, and quality of life. He has also worked to address the county's affordable housing crisis.
